Google Voice - simultaneous ring
- Must disable voicemail, increase ring count, or call forward to GV on target phones for three situations: busy, no answer, unreachable
- GV has loop detection (GV->mobile->conditional call forward->GV), supporting both calls to GV and calls directly to device with CF to GV voicemail
- For some mobile carriers, GV detects "unreachable subscriber" (phone turned off) message that is played when voicemail and CF is not configured on the phone (e.g. some prepaid accounts)
- If a target mobile is roaming on an international carrier and is temporarily unreachable, GV may not detect the non-USA "unreachable subscriber" message, causing it to bypass GV voicemail. Workaround: forward the target mobile directly to GV voicemail, disabling direct inbound roaming calls.
- Use web UI or calling card dialer app for outbound calls with GV number
